DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
Customer Care
Serving customers and fellow emplyees with respect, understanding and commitment to achieve service excellence.
Responding courteously and immediately to customer queries and requests.
Ensuring that the quality rendered is of the highest standard at all times and to appreciate that work of substandard quality is unacceptable.
Process Management
Oversee and manage the following processes:
o Inventory, Storeman.
o Reefer mechanical repairs and PTI.
o COT calibration/AV.
o Estimation processes.
o Tools and equipment and call outs.
People Management:
o Developing, training and motivating reefer team.
o Monitor and coordinate activities and outputs of reefer team.
o Performance management.
Compliance:
Coordination and management of activities that ensure relevant compliance in the following areas:
o Occupational compliance.
o FBO and PPECB.
o Electrical.
o Internal Financial controls.
Quality Control:
o Evaluate and monitor the quality of processes and implement corrective action in relation to the internal and customer specific standard.
Operation Execution:
o Planning, assessment of workload and prioritization.
o Allocate resources and issue instructions.
o Internal and external interaction with relevant stakeholders.
o Monitor progress and take corrective action to ensure productivity.
o Processing of relevant documentation to conclude the operation process.
Health and Safety:
o Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
o Ensure that the reefer area is clean after completion of daily operations.
REQUIREMENTS
We invite applications from candidates who meet the following minimum criteria:
Qualification/s:
A valid Grade 12 certificate.
N4 / N5 Trade or Diploma in electrical or refrigeration and accreditation on equipment.
Experience:
3 years field experience in refrigeration repairs.
Good knowledge of the make-up of reefers, depot operations, as well as customer requirements.
Required Skills
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills.
A valid driver's license.
